Why We Need Water

Besides the obvious reason for needing water so that our bodies don’t simply dry up and stop functioning, there are many reasons that the cleanest water should be consumed regularly every day in order to get the best health benefits from it. Generous amounts of water are essential for our organs to function at their best. Continuous water intake keeps the liver filtering the blood to keep us well and burning fat to give us energy throughout the day. Without these functions, we may get sick more often and may not have the energy to do the things we enjoy.

Water is used by the body as a way to clean the toxins out of the system. This water flushes waste and unnecessary chemicals out of the body, leaving us cleaner and healthier than before. To keep this cycle going, water must be coming in regularly and in healthy amounts. Without this continuous stream of water, our organs have to work harder; our energy flags and we simply can’t concentrate as well as we would with a steady stream of water.

For kids, the need is even greater- babies are born with a higher percentage of water in their bodies than adults - 80 percent. Kids also lose a great deal of water throughout the day through physical activity. They may not always stop for something to drink, leaving them vulnerable to dehydration and a loss of energy and concentration.

Alkaline ionized water is arguably the cleanest water available. It is electrically charged and aids in rapid nutrient absorption by our cells. Water ionizers can easily be installed on your kitchen tap to turn the acidic tap water in to alkaline ionized water.
